I retired from the world of professional ballet several years ago, and I now divide my time between teaching dance and writing novels. I also enjoy tracing my family history and writing books on genealogy and history.

2015 NEWS AND EVENTS:

July 10 at 4pm I will be giving a presentation at one of my favorite places, Little Switzerland Books and Beans.

December 2014: First Place for my Christmas short story at journezine."One Single Present" is written under my pen name Violet Rightmire.


On June 28, I will be signing books at High Country Festival of the Book in Boone, North Carolina.

On April 19, I will be at the Riverside Arts Market at the booth of the Jacksonville branch of the The National League of American Pen Women.


On April 12, I will be the featured speaker at the Jacksonville branch of the The National League of American Pen Women.

I am excited to be a part of the The Amelia Island Book Festival as one of their Young Adult Authors as well as being selected as one of their "Authors in Schools"! Come by and say hello on Saturday, February 22nd.
